By accessing or using ContractForge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

ContractForge is an AI-powered legal document generation platform. We provide tools to create legal documents including, but not limited to, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). Our Service uses artificial intelligence to generate document templates based on user-provided information.

3. Important Legal Disclaimer

THE DOCUMENTS GENERATED BY CONTRACTFORGE ARE FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE LEGAL ADVICE. We are not a law firm, and the use of our Service does not create an attorney-client relationship.

We strongly recommend that you consult with a qualified attorney before using any legal document for official purposes. Laws vary by jurisdiction, and AI-generated documents may not comply with local legal requirements.

4. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You may not use another person's account without permission
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

5. Payments and Refunds

5.1 Pricing

All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect orders already placed.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.

5.3 Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital document generation, all sales are final once a document has been generated. If you experience technical issues that prevent document generation, please contact us within 7 days for a refund.

6. User Responsibilities

When using our Service, you agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Generate documents with fraudulent or deceptive content
  • Attempt to circumvent any security features of the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without our permission
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Reproduce, distribute, or resell the Service or its content
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, and original content, is owned by ContractForge and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Documents

You retain ownership of the documents you create using our Service. However, you grant us a limited license to store and process your documents as necessary to provide the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONTRACTFORGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any documents generated will meet your specific legal requirements.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ContractForge and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Georgia.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
